A Plumbing System is the integrated network of pipes, fixtures, valves, pumps, and equipment that supply potable water, hot water, and remove wastewater from a building. Plumbing systems include domestic water systems (cold and hot), wastewater/drainage systems, gas distribution, fire protection water, and specialty systems (irrigation, process water). Systems are organized by function and can include storage tanks, water heaters, pumps, and treatment equipment.
