Washington, DC – Syyclops, provider of next generation digital twin technology by the same name, has added a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) module to its software. At the request of users, this added feature now gives facilities managers, maintenance and finance professionals one-click access to the current and future costs associate with operating their buildings, enabling them to better predict, manage and plan for operational costs.

“We are always happy to be able to provide our users with additional utility in Syyclops,” Syyclops Founder and Chief Executive Officer Raj Setty said. “With this module accessible right from a user’s homepage and incorporating live, dynamic data, users will have access to information that used to take hours to compile from multiple systems – rendering it out of date the moment it was generated. This really is a huge next-step for Syyclops and for the users who depend on the platform.”

The Syyclops TCO module pulls in real-time data on the various service agreements, maintenance costs and product costs and schedules. Together, this view enables better planning and awareness about the investment necessary to keep a building operational. This information is essential in capital planning and forecasting for organizations of every type and size.

“This is the latest addition to Syyclops and we’re excited about it, but we’ve got others coming soon that will add just as much value for our users,” Setty continued.

Washington, DC-Syyclops, maker of prop-tech/fintech software by the same name, today announced that it has launched a data aggregation and accumulation analysis tool, working with an industry-leading AI partner.

Customers are increasing looking at how and more importantly why to integrate artificial intelligence into their facility management operations, Syyclops founder Raj Setty said. By bringing AI into Syyclops we are showing customers how they can enable their buildings to tell them how to run them more efficiently. This was the vision for Syyclops all along to remove waste and inefficiency from the facilities management process and to proactively identify ways to make it better overall.

The beta AI integration underway presently is helping select Syyclops users query the data in Syyclops by asking it a question and, after supplying any required clarifying information, viewing a response from the system. The capability leverages artificial intelligence expertise from a market leader in the space, whose insight engine provides an end-to-end pipeline for ingesting, storing, and enriching data and is in place across myriad industries and organizations.

Syyclops looks to formally add this capability, following this initial beta test, later this year.

Washington, DC – Syyclops, maker of prop-tech/fintech software by the same name, today announced that it can now integrate with work order portals and that it now offers users a work-order-to-RFP fulfillment module – meaning that users can now solicit bids for maintenance services or supplies right from the Syyclops software, the moment a work order is initiated.

“Syyclops is all about bringing greater efficiency to the facilities management process,” Syyclops founder Raj Setty said. “Anyone who’s spent time in the field will tell you it’s a messy, barbaric process. With Syyclops, you can bring all your data together in one place so that you have a real-time picture of how your building is performing and can make better decisions as a result of that information.”

The work order portal integration and the work-order-to-RFP module both accelerate the speed at which maintenance and repairs are performed on campuses. They also enable users to prioritize maintenance activity and to preserve a record of that activity so that it can be accessed and utilized later, further driving efficiency and savings.

“With this funding we will continue to evolve the platform from its already paradigm-shifting state,” Setty continued. “Our early customers are already seeing results from Syyclops and this funding will help us build on those successes and bring the technology to even more users. We’re excited about all that’s to come and look forward to keeping our investors abreast of our progress.”

Washington, DC – Syyclops, maker of prop-tech/fintech software by the same name, today announced that it has added real-time Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs) to its product. These reports are tied into an overall cost databa se and aid in creating multi-year, individual-building cost projection profiles.

“These reports are critical for maintenance and operations professionals to understand where there are vulnerabilities in their buildings’ systems and how to prioritize their mitigation plans,” Syyclops founder Raj Setty said. “We’re glad to be able to bring them to Syyclops users who will no doubt find value in them.”

The Syyclops FCAs are valuable to both operations staff as well as to finance teams. With them, operations staff can see a “heat map” of their buildings and their systems in order to understand where there are issues in need of immediate attention. The software is effectively pushing information about where to apply resources. For finance professionals, these reports’ integration with cost databases enables better, more accurate forecasting – an imperative for any business in any domain.

New, DC-Based PropTech Company Tackling Waste and Inefficiency in Facilities Management

Washington, DC – Syyclops, the maker of prop-tech/fintech software by the same name, today formally incorporated in the state of Delaware. With headquarters in Washington, DC, the company becomes one of only a handful of prop-tech companies in the area.

“Syyclops was created to bring all building data together - physical, dynamic, human, product,” Syyclops founder Raj Setty said. “With Syyclops all that data is and actionable. It houses both resources and records and can answer questions like: How much will I spend on major equipment repairs this year; do I have a recalled product installed anywhere on my campus; when was this piece of equipment last serviced, why, by whom, and how?

“In today’s environment – where costs are rising, and the maintenance workforce is aging – having this kind of information at your fingertips is critical in order to make better decisions and to plan and forecast with greater fidelity.”

Setty, whose background is in design engineering, spent two years working with a team of developers to build Syyclops. After seeing firsthand the inefficient and barbaric way in which maintenance and asset data is maintained in most facilities, he was convinced there had to be a better way. From there, working with colleagues in the field and testing his ideas with customers, Setty conceived Syyclops and its feature set.

“Syyclops is a complete paradigm shift,” Setty continued. “We’re encouraged by the feedback we’re receiving from early partners and are eager to bring it to users.”

Washington, DC – Syyclops, the maker of prop-tech/fintech software by the same name, today announced that it has formalized a partnership with Flint Hill school to provide its paradigm-shifting software to the school. As part of a pilot project, Syyclops will help the school and its staff define and accelerate progress against a series of facilities management efficiency goals.

Flint Hill is a private, co-ed, college-preparatory school serving students from preschool through the 12th grade. Its Oakton, Virginia campus is home to multiple buildings in the upper and lower school and over 400,000 square feet of space.

“We’re incredibly excited about this partnership,” Flint Hill head of facilities Dennis Giuliani said. “Working with Syyclops we believe we can cut our maintenance costs significantly, become a more energy efficient campus, and apply our resources where they’re needed most – for our students.”

As a first step in the pilot, Syyclops created a virtual twin of the Flint Hill campus. All systems, asset, maintenance and product data were uploaded to the platform. This allowed the school to have a real-time view of its buildings’ performance and to pinpoint areas of opportunity and concern. Altogether, this means the school can see where and in what sequence it should make necessary investments in its campus.

“Syyclops will demonstrably benefit Flint Hill and deliver savings for them within the first three months,” Syyclops Founder Raj Setty said. “We’re glad to be working with them and we see this as the beginning of a great partnership.”
